Who I Am

Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, I moved
to Colorado in 1998. Don't miss the winters there,
but I do miss how easy it was to grow a garden!
I graduated in the corn at Northern Illinois University where I received my B.F.A. in Graphic Design in 1992. I've been working in the real estate industry since 2006, with experience in sales, construction and management.

I believe in giving back to the community that enables me to live such a satisfying live. I donate a portion of my commission to charity, and my clients get to pick the non-profit organization to which the donation goes.

I have three great children who attended school through BVSD and a supportive husband who owns Life Martial Arts in Broomfield (formerly Saeng Myong Martial Arts). I teach women's self defense, as well as a REALTOR safety class and a kids' stranger danger course. I'm closing in on my black belts in Tang Soo Do Tae Kwon Do and So Rim Kung Fu, but the older I get the easier I bruise.

My creative outlets are stained glass and jewelry making. You can view my pieces hanging at the Staufer Team office, or on display for Louisville's First Friday Art Walk each month, or you can check out my Glasslight Studio Facebook page. I love working with glass because the finished piece reveals surprises with changes in light.

Working by Referral

Real estate is an exciting and often challenging industry. What makes it gratifying is seeing a client happy in (or out of) their home. And when clients are satisfied, they refer me to their family and friends.

Working by referral allows me to spend less time prospecting for new business (and who likes cold calls?) and more time taking care of my current clients. My clients' needs come first, and I am available for them even long after the sale is over.
